Anna loves crafts so we’ll be having a hen party at the Make It Room in Chelmsford making garters and knickers for the special day! There’ll be a vintage tea party at the Make It Room before we go out for dinner and cocktails in Chelmsford Town.
Our Story
David and I met at a party a few years ago. We both didn’t really know anyone there and fuelled by alcohol and loud music, I had the confidence to talk to him (he was looking pretty lonely after all!). We were chatting all night and became the best of friends – who knew you could get on so well with someone you’ve just met?! A few texts, phone calls and meet ups later, and we were officially “boyfriend and girlfriend”!
The Bride
Anna is a creative and fun loving person. She just loves crafts and sewing, often much to David’s disappointment when the living room is covered with fabric! David often says she’s a wannabe fairytale princess as she’s always dreaming big and loves anything Disney!
The Groom
Whereas Anna loves to snuggle up in an armchair with her sewing, David loves to be active. David is at his happiest when he’s playing tennis or doing something sporty. David adores his loved ones (especially Anna of course!) and is probably one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet!
The Proposal
We had talked about marriage and travelling and our future together and knew exactly what we wanted out of life. We had been together 4 years when David finally proposed and I officially transformed in to Bridezilla (only joking…ish!).
He got down on one knee while we were having THE BEST holiday in Greece. Beautiful scenery, lovely weather, lots of cocktails and then a big blingy engagement ring!
The rest of our holiday consisted of researching crazy wedding themes and wondering whether we could get our families to come if we got married in the wonderful hotel in Greece that we got engaged. We decided on another beautiful venue instead right here in Essex so we can have all of our friends and family with us on our special day.

David loves Indian food so his stag party will take place at his favourite restaurant for a quick meal before heading to the pub. His best man might have more in store for him but you’ll just have to wait and see!

The Ceremony
Join us for our wedding ceremony starting at 11.30 am at All Saints C of E Church in Chelmsford, Essex. The church is absolutely beautiful and we fell in love with it straight away and knew we’d be getting married there.

The Reception
The wedding reception will be held at Channels Golf Club in Chelmsford, in the Essex Barn. Please join us for drinks, canapés and wedding photos before the wedding breakfast. Expect lots of dancing, cake and bubbly in to the evening to celebrate us becoming husband and wife! Can’t wait to see you there!
